2013 Oakland Summer Camp

Oakland DolphinWelcome to the Oakland Summer Day Camp! Oakland offers a safe, social, and creative environment for children ages 5-12.  Each day consists of a variety of camp games and activities for your children. Activities may include dance, dramatic play, arts and crafts,  organized sports, field games, indoor games,  computer lab, educational activities, water  games and lots more. 

Weekly field trips may include  bowling, ice skating, visiting the Lowcountry Children’s Museum, roller skating, Monkey Joe’s, Whirlin Waters, and James Island County Park.  A certified teacher will be  working with different age groups 3 days each week in Math, Science, and Reading.

Camp Details
  • Location: Oakland Elementary, 505-A Arlington Rd, Charleston, SC 29414
  • Ages: 5 to 12 (child must turn 6 in this calendar year)
  • Dates: One-week sessions, June 17 to August 9
  • Fee: $85 per week, $70 per week for each additional child (ABC VOUCHERS ACCEPTED)
  • Deposit: A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $10 per child per week is required.
  • Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Early Drop-Off is 7:00-8:00 a.m. and is $5.00 extra per family per week.
  • Fee includes one field trip per week, supplies, and snacks. Campers must bring a lunch every day.
